Your view can only put a damper on the sport. Believe it or not there are those who feel the more clubs the better.
Putting the views you stated can only be harmful too the sport and please don't forget families view this web site.You have stated which club you race at, that too wouldn't help Dandy's cause.
please consider those who read these sites.
Also for the record (again), Mike didn't retire he went on a short break after serving the club for 6 years.
So please enjoy life.

and for the record i was at the meet when Mike said he will not be racing any more and did not wont to be invoved in the club he said he would come down every now and then and say hi that is all he said, and he did retire as prez until he saw who was and what they stood for (the merger) he ran for prez again then and got voted out Any decent human would have left it at that but he had to find his little loop hole How was that good for the Sport we have 2 clubs in the area in name only at the moment until April when you start racing again How is that good for the sport
The efforts you guys are putting inis to be commened but imagine how great it would have been if the merger went ahead and that enthusasium (sry for spelling ) was put into the merged club instead of putting the merger down In my opion we would allrdy be getting the new land rdy for the new track as the combined club would of had the membership numbers to go to council with a strong postion and with all the effort put in the right direction this would have allrdy happened but O now it went the other way back to 2 small clubs trying to make there way in the rc world.

you are not winning anyone over with the way in which you insist on making things personal - hmmmmmmm maybe that is why Ash was deleted. You made it quite clear that you want to race at Dandenong. Please do so, with my blessing. The effort that is going into MPRCCC is because we want to see MPRCCC thrive. As for the new track, the council made it quite clear that we could have the land (and we still can), but that we would have to provide the funds to lay the track - that would have to accomodate basketball courts - $40,000. No matter how many members we had we would not have been given the track. This is why I am currently in discussions with the relevent people re a new venue. Please do us all a favour - go race at Dandenong - enjoy yourself and leave well enough alone.

Well I dont want to and how am I making it personal I am not the one deleting peoples posts of a public Forum and all I said about Mike was setting the facts str8 as I now them that is not being personal In my opion. And as for the money you can start building the surrounds and stuff for the track and getting it rdy maybe thats why the council has not given us land because You think its all to hard You have allrdy said that you are appling for grants and stuff there are heaps and heaps of grants avalable so raising 40000 would not be that hard and you say go race at Danndy and leave well enough alone Like I keep saying I want to see the SPORT crow and prosper in the SE as much as you do so why would I leave it alone I think my comments are constructive you dont have to take them onboard do you But it is always nice to now the views of any one that is intrested is that not the best way to move a club forward find all the views and formalate plans from those Ideas to move forward I just dont understand you guys every time I rad your post all I see is the Narrow mindness of a bunch of people that care about them selves more than the SPORT of RC in the SE I could be wrong but that is how I read things

I am only going to say this once more

!. I never said that I want nothing to do with the club, I stated that I was having a short break from racing and the club. I would like to see anyone turn up at every race meet for 5 years and not want a break.

2. I did not retire as president, at an AGM all the current committee has to step down so the new committee can be elected. I was asked to stand for the committee again so I did. It was only at the AGM that I found out about the plans for a merge not prior.

3.If you think really hard what difference is there now there was no merge, everyone who wanted to go to SERCCC has gone and everyone who didn't want to go has stayed so there is no problem.

4. Unfortunately your views on fund raising are very naive if it was easy to raise $40,000 we would have done it by now so would SERCCC so would KROMA etc.etc.

5. As for the membership issue, renewals are open to everyone. It was taken as fact that after your storm out at the meeting stating "you want nothing to do with your little club" that you did not want to join so why the change of heart if you want to join fill out the membership form on the website and submit it and we will see what happens.
