froce models/engine website 1 Year, 1 Month ago Karma: -1
Hi all first post here,

i have one of the original V2 GV's which i was think i might trial to see if i like racing them at your club. it sat around for 4 years doing nothing so i threw a 2 speed in it and a few other little new bits and it fires up ok but i really want the spec settings for the carb (needles) of the force 12 motor. problem is i thought there would have been something on the internet but im yet to find any info.

does anyone know what or where the force engine website is.

cheers

glen

Hi Glen,

First of all welcome to our club and forum..

The GV brand of cars is distributed in Australia by Model Engines www.modelengines.com.au

I couldn't find any instruction manuals with your particular engine, however the US distributor of Force engines (OFNA), had an instruction manual on their website
http://www.ofna.com/pdf/eng-force12s,15s.pdf

Just a few tips for tuning the engine..

- Always make sure it is blowing a nice trail of smoke from the exhaust..too rich is better than too lean.

- You will never get a perfect tune by any settings in a guide, these settings are designed to get the engine started ready to tune.

- Your most welcome to bring your car down on one of our race days, (next one is this Sunday 1st July) we can give you some pointers on how to tune the engine, and have a chat to our club members about what you may need for racing such as tyres and spares etc..

Good luck and hopefully see you at the track..

Cheers,

Craig
